Hearty Tomato-Bean Soup

Ingredients

cup chopped onion

cup chopped celery

(28-oz.) can whole tomatoes, undrained, cut up

(15.5-oz.) can light or dark red kidney beans, drained

(11-oz.) can vacuum-packed whole kernel corn, undrained

(10 3/4-oz.) can condensed tomato soup

cup water

teaspoon sugar
1/4
teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed

teaspoon pepper
  • 1 Spray 4-quart nonstick saucepan or Dutch oven with nonstick cooking spray. Add onion and celery; cook and stir until tender.
  • 2 Stir in all remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.
