A sweet glaze of pineapple and mustard is traditional with baked ham and these flavors work well for sandwiches, too. Fat-free mayonnaise and honey mustard bind the ingredients together nicely.

Ingredients

6
oz. 96% fat-free cooked ham, diced
1
(8-oz.) can pineapple tidbits in unsweetened juice, drained
1/2
cup chopped carrot
1/4
cup fat-free mayonnaise or salad dressing
1
tablespoon honey mustard
3
(6-inch) pita (pocket) breads, halved
6
lettuce leaves

Steps

  • 1 In medium bowl, combine all ingredients except pita breads and lettuce; mix well.
  • 2 Line each pita bread half with lettuce leaf. Fill with scant 1/3 cup ham salad.
