Unfortuntely, this recipe wasn't written very well. I had to use a 3 qt baking dish to fit the 1lb of hash browns,cheese, and ham. 2 qt wasn't nearly big enough. Also, you don't need to "stir" the "sauce".Overall it great tasting, just poorly written & confusing.

Let stand 5-10 minutes to allow sauce to thicken.

This was really easy and good. I did use a sharp cheddar just to give it a bit more zing. Comes out of the oven a little runny, but does thicken up after standing for 5-10 minutes.
