Habanero Honey Country Ham Biscuits

Mini biscuits with egg, country ham and a habanero honey mustard sauce. Just the right punch in a small package to get your morning started!

mini frozen biscuits

oz country ham, thinly sliced

lg eggs
1/2
md habanero pepper, finely chopped
4
Tbsp honey
1
Tbsp dijon mustard
1
Tbsp italian seasoning
1
tsp paprika, sweet mild
3
Tbsp butter, unsalted
pinch salt and pepper

  • 1 Cook biscuits according to pkg. Add 1 tbsp melted butter, paprika and italian season to the tops.
  • 2 Fry ham and cover with water in heated skillet. Cook at medium heat for 4-5 minutes. Remove
  • 3 Add habanero pepper, mustard and honey to the pan sauce. Simmer for about 2 mintes. Set aside
  • 4 Whisk eggs, pepper and salt. Melt 2 tbsp butter in heated pan. Cook eggs for 1 minute, flip once.
  • 5 Slice biscuits in 1/2. Layer equal parts of egg, sauce mixture, ham, sauce mixture, add tops.
  • 6 Serve with fresh fruit and veggies
