If you don't care for pineapple cream cheese, regular cream cheese can be used instead.

Make your own guacamole by mashing up a fresh avocado and adding chopped garlic, lime juice and chili powder.

Yuck-o......pineapply cream cheese w/ the bacon and avocado was just bad....made the original recipe. Made it agin however making REAL guacamole with mashed avocada, lime juice, cilantro, cumin, garlic, salsa, hot sauce. added this to the cream cheese and crescent triangles. THIS was good. But the original is bad. Fixed for a party and lots of people left the bites of the original on plates. fixed again and all got gone.

I was very disappointed as was my family. The mix of flavors just wasn't right. I wouldn't use the pineapple cream cheese or the bacon. If I made it again I would add jalapenos and mix the spices with the cream cheese

Seemed to be a hit but I will make a few changes next time (more seasonings, different toppings)

Gerry K MN I just made this recipe with a few changes. Everyone loved it and I plan on making it for my bridge group in Feb. On the crust, I poked the crust with a fork and just sprinkled on the cumin and chili powder, then baked. In the cream cheese, guacamole, I added 2 teaspoons of dry cilantro, 1 teaspoon of lime juice and a few drops of hot sauce to taste and mixed well. Taste to make sure it tastes the way you like or you can add more seasonings of your choice. I also used more topping.

This recipe was a hit at a bridal shower I threw. I did make a few changes to the toppings but the cream cheese/guacamole mix was delicious. I topped it with red and green peppers, tomatoes and cilantro.
