Ground Beef and Twice-Baked Potato Pie

No time for twice-baked? Get the same great flavor with refrigerated mashed potatoes. Then spread over a hearty ground beef filling.

My husband is a very picky eater, but he liked this! The green onions and bacon on top added plenty of flavor for us.

This is very good. My son found it in one of those cookbooks at the grocery store checkout, and he made it for the family. One of our daughters has celiac, so he left out the bread crumbs and it worked fine. It's not super flavorful, so if you want lots of punch in your ground beef you might want to add some seasoning. Overall, it's a good recipe for dinner.

I used ground turkey instead of beef, crackers instead of bread crumbs, added tsp. of poultry seasoning instead of sage. Couldn't find garlic twice baked, so used regular frozen mashed and added cloves of minced garlic to melted butter then to potatoes. My husband who doesn't eat red meat LOVED IT!! It also reheats well in the microwave!!

Quick and simple! Added layer of tomatoes between meat and potatoes, and used instant potatoes instead of refrigerated ones, everything turned out great! Husband loves it!

Made for dinner last night. Used ground venison and stove top stuffing mix in place of the bread crumbs and sage. Family loved it!

Recipe was decent, nothing really stood out about the dish. Easy to make, but probably won't make it again.

This was a delishious dish! I have made it without breadcrumbs because I was out and it turned out just as yummy. Great with turkey also! I will be making this again!

This is a delicious new twist on shepherd's pie. I add a layer of canned "butter and sugar" corn between the meat and potatoes for an added flavor.

Quick and easy to make! Didn't have to add a thing, except more bacon...)
