Grilled Taco Pizza

Two family favorites combine, with prepared seasoned meat sauce and other taco ingredients topping refrigerated pizza dough.

Ingredients

can (11 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated thin crust pizza dough

cup taco sauce
1/2
container (18 oz) refrigerated taco sauce with seasoned ground beef

cups shredded Mexican cheese blend

(1/4-inch-thick) slices Italian plum tomatoes (about 3 tomatoes)

cup shredded romaine lettuce

cup purchased guacamole
1/4
cup sour cream
  • 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill to medium heat. Cut 14 x14-inch piece of heavy duty foil; spray foil with cooking spray. Place dough on foil; starting at center, press dough to 12-inch round. Place dough on grill, foil side down. Cook, uncovered, 3 minutes or until bottom of crust is light golden brown. Remove from grill.
  • 2 Using wide spatula, flip crust over on foil so uncooked side is down. Drizzle taco sauce evenly over crust. Spoon ground beef onto pizza; spread evenly. Sprinkle with 1 cup of the cheese. Arrange tomato slices over cheese; sprinkle evenly with remaining 1 cup cheese.
  • 3 Place pizza onto grill, foil side down. Cook, covered, an aditional 3 to 4 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese begins to melt. Serve with guacamole and sour cream.
