Shrimp are done when the outside turns pink and the inside loses its slightly gray translucence, becoming an opaque white.
To broil shrimp, place on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times above as a guide and brushing with marinade.
Many cooks would argue that it's almost impossible to add too much parsley to a recipe. Its flavor complements just about any type of food or other herb without overpowering it. Fresh parsley will often revive the flavor of dried herbs when used in the same recipe.
The universal herb is available in tow basis types: curly or Italian (flat-leaf). The flat-leaf variety is hardier and stronger in flavor, though curly parsley makes an attractive, frilly garnish.
Wrap parsley loosely in paper towels and refrigerate it in a resealable plastic bag in the vegetalbe drawer. Or, trim the stems and set parsley in a jar of water, bouquet style, covering the top with a plastic bag and storing it in the refrigerator door.
