Expert Tips

Chipotle chiles are jalapeño chiles that have been dried and smoked. In this recipe, we call for chipotles packed in adobo sauce, a delicious, rich combination of spicy ingredients that complements the chiles.

To broil halibut steaks, place on broiler pan; broil 4 to 6 inches from heat using times in recipe as a guide, turning once or twice.
