These cute cheeseburger sliders are great for dinnertime or as a fun party appetizer. Use Pillsbury™ crusty French loaf to make fresh slider buns in a flash.

Ingredients

1
can (11 oz) Pillsbury™ refrigerated crusty French loaf
1
lb lean (at least 80%) ground beef
1
teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon pepper
4
slices American cheese, cut in quarters
1
tablespoon butter, melted
2
teaspoons sesame seed
Pickles, ketchup and mustard, if desired

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Remove dough from can. Cut crosswise into 8 pieces. Place pieces, cut side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 16 to 18 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 10 minutes.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix beef, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Shape mixture into 16 balls. Flatten each ball into patty about 2 3/4 inches in diameter.
  • 3 Heat grill pan or grill over medium heat. Place patties on grill. Cook 2 to 3 minutes; turn. Cook 2 minutes longer or until desired doneness. Immediately top each patty with 1/4 slice cheese. Remove from grill.
  • 4 Cut each roll in half horizontally. Place 2 patties on bottom half of each roll. Top with roll tops. Brush each roll top with butter. Sprinkle with sesame seed. Serve with remaining ingredients.

Make the slider buns up to a day in advance. Store cooled slider buns in resealable food-storage plastic bag or on a platter covered with plastic wrap.
