Expert Tips

You can control the spiciness of these burgers by adjusting the amount of chipotle chiles and adobo sauce in them.

Short on time? Skip the guacamole and top your burger with a slice of avocado instead.

My mouth is watering and I can't wait to try these! I'll be adding about 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin to the guacamole and using fresh garden cilantro, lettuce, tomatoes and onion to top!

Sounds good. I would probably use dried chipotle powder instead of the actual chile's to prevent the burgers from falling apart, and I would top it with some chipotle mayo. (Mayo mixed with adobo sauce).
