Grilled Chicken Breasts with Tomato-Basil Butter

boneless skinless chicken breasts (about 1 3/4 lb)

teaspoons garlic-pepper blend
1/2
cup butter or margarine, softened
1
tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

tablespoons tomato paste

Directions

  1. 1 Brush grill rack with vegetable oil. Heat gas or charcoal grill. Sprinkle chicken with garlic-pepper blend.
  2. 2 Place chicken on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 15 to 20 minutes, turning once, until juice of chicken is clear when center of thickest part is cut (170°F).
  3. 3 In small bowl, mix remaining ingredients. Serve chicken topped with butter mixture.
