I thought this was very good. I would like to try making the burgers and grilling them without the foil.

I do not have a grill so I baked it in the oven for about 2 hrs. to make sure the burger was done. Time would depend on the size of the burger. All the veggies were fork tender. Very good and easy clean-up. I had leftovers that were easily reheated in the foil in the oven.

Not that good. Might as well make a meatloaf with all the same ingredients.

I do this same meal only I make mine a little easier! Instead making my own patties, I use premade frozen patties and pour Worscheshire or steak marinade on top of everything inside the foil packet. Then I bake the packets on a cookie sheet in the oven at 350 for an hour. Super easy to prep and fast to clean up! My husband and two-year-old LOVE this!

My family really liked this. It's a bit of work up front but worth it in the end. Downside is the grease has nowhere to go so everything is sitting in the grease when you open the foil up. Get the leanest ground beef you can buy to deal with that. Ground turkey might be an option here, too. I ended up cooking this on the grill for about 24 minutes, a bit longer than suggested, and everything was cooked through, the carrots and potatoes were tender. When asked my family said they definitely would like this again.

Very good burger -I added a few different veggies as well and turned out really well -the only thing was we didn't have a grill so I tried doing it on broil in the oven and it took a good 60-90min for it to thoroughly cook -so if someone knows of a better way to do this in the oven that would be great as it was worth the wait but would like it to be shorter!

My husband and I really enjoyed this. I precooked the potatoes and the carrots in the microwave for a few minutes to ensure that they would be cooked through. I also forgot the tomatoes. I will be making these again.

The potatoes should have been cooked a little prior. I also added pan sausage to my patties. Everything tasted well and I enjoyed it. My husband not so much. I expecially liked the carrots. Next time I wont add squash to it or as much pepper/onions. Loved the convience of the meal though.
