Grilled Bratwurst Reubens

Mix it up at your next tailgate party or backyard get-together with this combo in a bun, combining grilled sausages with classic Reuben flavors. Bottled dressing makes it ultra-easy.

cooked bratwurst

jar (16 oz) sauerkraut, drained, rinsed

cup Thousand Island dressing

rye bratwurst buns, split
  • 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. Place bratwurst on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes, turning frequently, until thoroughly heated.
  • 2 Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix sauerkraut and dressing.
  • 3 To toast buns, place cut side down on grill during last 30 to 60 seconds of cooking time.
  • 4 Place bratwurst in buns. Top each with about 1/4 cup sauerkraut mixture.
