Grilled Bratwurst Reubens

cooked bratwurst

jar (16 oz) sauerkraut, drained, rinsed
1/2
cup Thousand Island dressing
8
rye bratwurst buns, split

Directions

  1. 1 Heat gas or charcoal grill. Place bratwurst on grill. Cover grill; cook over medium heat 6 to 8 minutes, turning frequently, until thoroughly heated.
  2. 2 Meanwhile, in medium bowl, mix sauerkraut and dressing.
  3. 3 To toast buns, place cut side down on grill during last 30 to 60 seconds of cooking time.
  4. 4 Place bratwurst in buns. Top each with about 1/4 cup sauerkraut mixture.
