Ingredients

Fruit Salsa

  • 1/2 cup chopped cantaloupe
  • 1/2 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 kiwi fruit, peeled, chopped
  • 2 to 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

Cake

  • 1 (14-oz.) angel food cake loaf

    GRILL DIRECTIONS: Heat grill. In medium bowl, combine all fruit salsa ingredients; mix well. Slice cake in half horizontally.

    When ready to grill, place cake halves, cut side down, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 30 to 60 seconds or until light golden brown.

    To serve, cut cake into 8 pieces; place on individual dessert plates. Top each with fruit salsa.
