Cheesy Green Bean Casserole

Ingredients

  • 2 cans (14.5 oz each) cut green beans, drained
  • 1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (8 oz)
  • 2 jars (4.5 oz each) sliced mushrooms, drained
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 can (6 oz) French-fried onions
  • Chopped fresh parsley, if desired

    Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 8-inch square (2-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray.

    In large bowl, mix all ingredients except onions and parsley. Stir in half of the onions. Spoon mixture into baking dish.

    Bake uncovered 30 minutes. Sprinkle remaining onions over top. Bake 5 minutes longer or until bubbly and onions are golden brown. Garnish with parsley.

  • Feel free to replace the canned green beans in this Cheesy Green Bean Casserole recipe with 16 to 20 ounces frozen green beans.
  • To give your easy Cheesy Green Bean Casserole a little added crunch, add 1/4 cup sliced almonds to the French fried onions.
  • If desired, substitute Swiss cheese for the cheddar cheese.
