I made these for the first time last night and my guests couldn't get enough! I will definitely put these on my Christmas Eve table. I didn't add anything but can see endless possibilities. Very, very good.

The spinach is in the purchased cream cheese. This is so tasty. I added some finely chopped green onion to the cream cheese mixture. A finely chopped shallot would work as well (just a very mild onion addition). Easy and impressive appetizer!

Does the recipe call for spinach anywhere? I may have missed it...

Elegantly awesome, or awesomely elegant! Delicious savory party hors d'oeuvre - just in time for holiday party season. I expect to impress my Greek friends with this recipe - do you mind if I keep the recipe my own little secret? :-)

You can serve these with ranch dip or your favorite tazatki sauce. Sometimes I brush these with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds or poppy seeds for a little color
