Ingredients

Black Seedless Grapes-1 kg
Sugar-1
1/2 cups
Water-1
1/2 cups
Lime juice- juice of 1 lime
Dry bottles for storing squash

  • 1 Wash and soak the grapes in water for around 15minutes. After 1 hr drain and keep it aside.
  • 2 In a Heavy bottom pan put the grapes, sugar, water and limejuice.
  • 3 Close with the lid and let it simmer for around 30 to 45 minutes.
  • 4 Shake the pan every 15 minutes. do not use spatulla or any utensil to stir.
  • 5 The grapes should become soft and should blend well. switch off flame and let it cool.
  • 6 Transfer the juice to another bowl using the strainer and squeese all the juice from the pulp
  • 7 Squash is now ready. stoire the squash in dry bottles,and keep Refridgerated.
  • 8 Serving tip: pour squash to a serving glass (half portion) and add water / bubbled water
  • 9 Serve with lime slice and mint leaves

The pulp you get by straining the juice and be reserved and be used as a spread.
