A very good cookie I will make it again.
I used unsweetened coconut since the recipe did not specify and it was the right choice--would have been too sweet otherwise. I baked one batch a little longer to get more of the golden brown quality but it was a mistake--a macaroon should be tender and chewy so keep to 12-14 mins. Can also use almond-oat-cluster cereal instead of granola or just sliced almonds alone--less dense than granola bars. Yummy.
