I made these exactly as directed except I did not add the salsa. They were great. Both my 7 year old and 2 year old ate every bite. You know that this is a keeper when there is not one complaint.

I have made these a couple of times. They are great for a quick dinner idea. And they taste great.

I used 1 pound of 93% ground beef. I measured each portion, I only had enough meat for 6 Taco melts. I followed the advise of other reviewers and cut down on the water. I thought they tasted salty. Possibly due to less water? I used a rolling pin to stretch the biscuits and sealed them by pressing the edges with a fork. That worked out well. Overall these were good. I would make them again. Next time, I will add the water as written.

This was pretty tasty-mixing the salsa with the meat and "cooking" it together gave the meat an extra zip. All of my picky eaters were pleased and it was an easy and quick dinner. You use very little meat compared to using regular taco shells so buy lots of Grands or buy a smaller pack of meat. We never have leftover meat but tonight, everyone's full and there's a hefty amount left of just cooked meat. Thumbs up !

so easy! I used ground turkey instead of hamburger; I also omitted the salsa at the start and mixed it with sour cream to put on top when I served it. I used the flaky biscuits, next time I am going to make them by breaking the biscuit in half and making them a little smaller so I can eat two!

This was great. I did NOT have any spillage or overflow issues...i reduced the mixture enough that it was not watery. When i filled each pocket i closed with pressing the folk around and brushed with egg mixture, it was impressive and it was great. Next time I will just roll out the biscuit a little more..as you could really taste the biscuit more than you would want too,

Added refried beans to the bottom, mixed the cheese into the hamburger so I could use more cheese. Wish I had thought about the fork to seal them...No salsa, but still yummy! Messy, but oh so easy & quick.
