My family has made and enjoyed Monkey Bread for many, many years. We add a generous squirt of corn syrup to the brown sugar and butter and cook it until it's frothy before pouring over the biscuits. It makes a better, gooey caramel sauce. Yummm, I want some right now! :o)

I buy the smaller 4-pack biscuit pack with the monkey bread recipe right on the package. The biscuits are smaller but would appear to make a bigger batch and cook better. Also, it keeps really well in a sealed tuperware container...we eat it for breakfast for 4-5 days.

What did I do wrong?! I followed the instructions exactly, but my monkey bread just wouldn't cook in the center. I put it back in repeatedly, but some was still doughy. I took it out and discarded the doughy part. The part that was cooked was tasty. I put some in a bowl and topped it with whipped cream. My husband liked it.

I made this for my family. I found it too sweet. If I were to make it again, I would use 1/2 the brown sugar............. also, it does not keep well. Had to throw 1/2 out. I was disappointed.

This has been a Christmas morning favorite for our family for years. It is prepared and ready to eat before the kids are out of bed and makes the whole house smell like Christmas. We eat it while we slowly open gifts.
