1: can (12 oz) Pillsbury® Grands!® Jr. Golden Homestyle refrigerated honey butter biscuits

2: medium bananas, sliced

2: eggs

1 1/2: cups half-and-half

1/2: cup creamy peanut butter

Directions

1 Heat oven to 400°F. Bake biscuits as directed on can; cool 5 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F.
2 Meanwhile, spray 11x7-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange banana slices in bottom of dish. In large bowl, beat eggs and half-and-half with whisk until smooth.
3 Split cooled biscuits. Spread bottom halves with peanut butter; cover with top halves. Cut each biscuit into quarters. Add biscuits to egg mixture; mix well. Let stand 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Pour over bananas in baking dish.
4 Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.

Was something missing in the ingredients, i.e. sugar? This dish was not very good. Tasted bland and like something was missing. Also, the bananas got hard after it was baked. I didn't realize it was supposed to be a breakfast casserole and I served it as a dessert, maybe that was why it tasted so bland. For whatever reason, I won't be making this recipe again for either breakfast or dessert.
