A Thanksgiving family favorite served up with a biscuit crust; two holiday sides in one.

Ingredients

2
bags (12 oz each) Green Giant™ Steamers™ frozen cut green beans
1
can (8 oz) Pillsbury™ Grands!™ Flaky Layers refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1
can (18 oz) Progresso™ Vegetable Classics creamy mushroom soup
1 1/2
cups French-fried onions
Salt and pepper, as desired

Steps

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with cooking spray. Microwave frozen green beans as directed on bag for maximum time; drain.
  • 2 Meanwhile, separate each biscuit into 3 layers. Press biscuit layers in bottom and up sides of baking dish.
  • 3 Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set. Meanwhile, in large bowl, mix green beans, mushroom soup, 2/3 cup of the French-fried onions, and the salt and pepper. Spoon over biscuits.
  • 4 Bake 27 to 30 minutes or until mixture is hot and bubbly. Sprinkle with remaining French-fried onions. Bake about 5 minutes longer or until onions are golden brown. Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
