I used grands flaky layers biscuits and seperated them in two making both a top and bottom out of each. Sprinkle some corn meal on your work surface before you roll out the biscuits it adds a corn tortilla flavor. I added taco seasoning to burger. It was great!

I've been making these for a long time...I like to make them and then freeze them and take them camping. Then you just toss the foil wrapped package in the coals for a few minutes to warm them up and there you go!
I love these pockets!

I used twice the # of biscuits and added corn and chopped jalapenos to the meat mixture. A major winner!

Oh my God!! These Taco Melts taste so good. They were like music to my mouth. Super easy to make. I would just add one more step. I had to "fork" the biscuits closed. Otherwise they popped open in the oven. I give this recipe an A+++
