I make this recipe every Christmas morning for my family and it fills the house with such wonderful smells! A tradition that my kids won't ever let me forget because this is such a special treat and is super yummy. There are never any leftovers as the plate is virtually licked clean!

The inside and bottom dough would not bake. I added probably 20 minutes and then took it out and it still was doughy. What's the secret to getting the inside dough baked through?

This recipe is an old favorite of mine. I first made it almost 20 years ago; the recipe was on the package (tube) and my whole family just loved it. It's so easy and delicious.

Hi, planning on trying this recipe for Christmas morn. Reading comments/reviews, was wondering if anyone has ever tried it with Flaky type biscuit instead of the buttermilk type???

Great easy recipie. My five year old had fun measuring, shaking the dough, and placing the pieces in the tube pan. Took at least 15 more minutes to bake. Lowered temp to 325 after first 30 min and baked until not doughy in middle. Did not get too brown this way.

I tried making these into muffins - 4 sections (a whole biscuit) is too much for one muffin area. Maybe 3 (or somewhat smaller pieces) would be better. Oh, and don't taste it before it has a minute or two to cool - my lip is burnt!

I made these, although I only used one can of biscuits and I just realized I made it wrong! Still good...I guess we just had some extra 'sauce'. This reminds me of the recipe I have for frozen rolls using butterscotch pudding mix, butter and brown sugar (which by the way I highly recommend that recipe too if you remember to start it the night before!) I used light margarine to cut down on the calories a bit. The biscuits that were on the top and exposed to the air in the oven were kinda crunchy, though this could have been because they were overdone since I only used half the biscuits. I will half the whole recipe next time since there is just 3 of us and play around with the time it takes for it to be done.
