I baked them 5 minutes less than required and it turned out completley burned, black. Had to throw it out. Might try again but my suggestion is watch it closely!

My husband ate them. I didn't. Tried one bite and it was too chocolaty for me.

I gave the recipe three stars because the flavors were pretty good but the execution left a lot to be desired. I made a double batch, so maybe that was my problem. But the middle never cooked properly and I baked it quite a bit longer than stated in the recipe, checking it often after the stated bake time. By the time I finally gave up baking it, the edges were overdone and the middle still raw. I won't try this one again.

This was a real hit with the kids. Both of them liked it, which doesn't happen often in our house. Usually one will like something and the other will turn thier nose up at it. This time I did omit the pecans, since the kids are not fond of them, next time however, since I love toasted pecans, I will add them.
