Looking for a hearty and no-fuss dinner? Enjoy this yellow peas and ham soup made in a slow cooker.

Ingredients

(16-oz.) pkg. dried yellow split peas

cups diced cooked ham

carrots, diced

cup finely chopped onion

tablespoon chicken-flavor instant bouillon

teaspoon celery salt

teaspoon dry mustard

teaspoon hot pepper sauce

cups boiling water

Steps

  • 1 Sort peas. Rinse well; drain. In 3 1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker, combine all ingredients; mix well.
  • 2 Cover; cook on high setting for 1 hour.
