Glazed Carrot Package

Enjoy these glazed grilled carrots that are sprinkled with dill – a delicious side dish.

Ingredients

cups fresh baby carrots

tablespoons brown sugar
1/4
teaspoon salt
1/4
teaspoon ginger
1/4
teaspoon dry mustard
1/4
teaspoon caraway seed, if desired
1
tablespoon butter, cut into small pieces
1
teaspoon chopped fresh dill, if desired
  • 1 Heat grill. Place carrots in medium microwave-safe casserole; cover. Microwave on HIGH for 4 minutes. Drain.
  • 2 Cut 18x12-inch sheet of heavy-duty foil. Place carrots in center of foil. Sprinkle with all remaining ingredients except butter and dill. Dot with butter. Wrap packet securely using double-fold seals, allowing room for heat expansion.
  • 3 When ready to grill, place packet, seam side up, on gas grill over medium heat or on charcoal grill 4 to 6 inches from medium coals. Cook 20 to 25 minutes or until carrots are tender, rotating packet once.
  • 4 To serve, open packet carefully to allow steam to escape. Sprinkle carrots with dill.
