Ginger Praline Pumpkin Tart

Crystalized ginger and glazed pecans add pizzazz to a pumpkin pie. It's all so easy when you start with a Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust.

Tart is good and super easy to make. Will make withOUT the crystalized ginger next time and try adding 1 tsp. ground ginger. Biting into tiny diced pieces of ginger overpowered and distracted from overall flavor. Added additional 1 1/2 tsp. of pumpkin pie spice and 1/4 tsp. cloves. Everyone loved the glazed pecans in crust and topping. I used honey glazed pecans found in the salad section of the grocery to save time. Worked well. Will be making again next week.

I loved this pie! My family wasn't so crazy about adding ginger and nuts to their well known pumpkin pie,(split reviews...) but I thought it gave a great texture and fun flavor, that is a little bit different. But it helps if you're a ginger lover! Oh, and its very easy to make.

I have lots of sweet potatoes, so I used 2 cups of mashed sweet potatoes and pumpkin pie spice to replace the cinnamon. It came out yummy!

Wonderful and easy to make. Instead of the cinnamon, I used 1 tsp Pumpkin pie spice in its place. For the whip cream I also added a teaspoonful of dark rum to add that extra flavor. The rum flavor with the pumkin is perfect. Also I served a good Port wine since it has a great tawny taste and went really well with this dessert.

This sounds wonderful! Will wait 'til someone makes it exactly as printed and posts their review.
