I has made this receipe for the fourth time and it has never failed me. Our guests loved it! I serve it over noodles. My husband is of German descent so our guests were happy to eat a ethic dish.

Just made this last night -everyone raved. My mom in law and my parents were with our family for dinner. The meal really was delicious. Instead of ribs I used pork butt (don't mean to be crude, but that is what it is called!) and didnt have apple cider vineger and used red wine vinegar instead. It worked out fine. the flavors blended nicely and everyone loved it! We served with steamed green beans, garlic bread and rice. It almost was like juicy pulled pork. I put the pork on a large serving tray and used a slotted spoon to spoon the cabbage along either side; made for a nice presentation
