I scoop these by the tablespoon full onto a baking stone. Let them cook until the outside is set and cook them just a bit longer until the centers are 3/4 cooked, remove them and leave them cool on the stone. it makes for a lasting softness all through the inside with a crisp outer shell. These were my husbands favorites when we were dating and they would last in freshness even long enough to make it to Okinawa where he was stationed while we were dating. Probably one of the easiest and fastest recipes I've ever made. Very good!!! I used regular chocolate devil's food cake mix.
