I agree about using garlic powder instead of garlic salt. This would be great in a bread basket in a buffet.

I can't wait to try this today for my party tomorrow!! I would also use garlic powder and also some real bacon bits to it! YUMMY...We all LOVE spinach...

This recipe of "Game-Day Spinach Pull Apart" turned out very well. My family and friends all enjoyed the tasty Pull-Apart Loaf of Bread. In Boy Scouts we taught the little Cub Scouts in Summer Day Camp and the older BS who were Staff, also learned how to make these! Enjoy the recipe!!! :-)

I made the Game-Day Spinach Pull-Apart for my family and it didn't taste like what I had expected. I must say it was very pretty. I think I should have used more spinach and perhaps more herbs that could give it a burst of flavor. It was a little bland. Also, it takes a while to make.

It was good. But If you could please explain the step about rolling the crescent rolls into balls, because I made this dinner tonight but it didn't look like the picture mine was more flat. Does it make a difference if you leave out one ingriedent or subsitute it for something else?

My husband and I both loved the spinach pull apart. It does take time to make but my husband and I both worked on it so the time was cut in half. We love spinach so I grow it in the garden. Our sons are also big fans of spinach as they were brought up eating a variety of vegetables. Made a mistake the first time making it. I cut the recipe in half and the pull apart disappeared in 2 or 3 minutes so do make this as directed.

This wasn't bad, although hubby didn't care for it. (He ain't no fan of spinach!) I liked it more than he -- but I was careful not to tell him it contained cream cheese and mayo! Yikes! Next time (and I hope there will be one), I think I'll opt for salad dressing instead of the mayo. Also, I'm lactose intolerant, so I had to go with soy cream cheese, which is just "iffy" at best. I may have to pass on this recipe.

I made this for Super Bowl. This was the first thing gone! My boyfriend is still talking about how he only got to try one spinach ball. I will definitely be making this again. I substituted the garlic salt with powder. I also stacked the individual balls first. The garlic butter mixture I put in a separate bowl and spread it with a new paint brush I had. Less mess. Wasn't as time consuming!

Made these for Super Bowl munchies. A little time consuming but well worth the effort. Even kids liked them. Next time I will add a little red pepper flakes to the cheese mixture to give them a little heat.
