Directions

  • 1 Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 12-cup fluted tube cake pan with Crisco® Original No-Stick Cooking Spray. In small bowl, mix butter and 1/2 teaspoon of the garlic salt; set aside.
  • 2 In medium bowl, mix cream cheese, mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, basil, pepper and remaining 1 teaspoon garlic salt until blended; set aside.
  • 3 Unroll crescent dough; separate into 16 triangles. Cut each triangle in half lengthwise to make total of 32 small triangles. Stretch or press 1 triangle slightly, being careful not to tear it. Spoon 1 tablespoon spinach mixture onto center of triangle; pull dough around mixture into a ball. Press edges to seal. Repeat with remaining triangles.

I agree about using garlic powder instead of garlic salt. This would be great in a bread basket in a buffet.

I can't wait to try this today for my party tomorrow!! I would also use garlic powder and also some real bacon bits to it! YUMMY...We all LOVE spinach...

This recipe of "Game-Day Spinach Pull Apart" turned out very well. My family and friends all enjoyed the tasty Pull-Apart Loaf of Bread. In Boy Scouts we taught the little Cub Scouts in Summer Day Camp and the older BS who were Staff, also learned how to make these! Enjoy the recipe!!! :-)

I made the Game-Day Spinach Pull-Apart for my family and it didn't taste like what I had expected. I must say it was very pretty. I think I should have used more spinach and perhaps more herbs that could give it a burst of flavor. It was a little bland. Also, it takes a while to make.

It was good. But If you could please explain the step about rolling the crescent rolls into balls, because I made this dinner tonight but it didn't look like the picture mine was more flat. Does it make a difference if you leave out one ingriedent or subsitute it for something else?
