Made this salad for the 4th of July and had mixed taste test results. The salad itself is gorgeous, lots of color and it looked impressive. The dressing tasted great when I made it and the fruit was ripe and juicy. Something happened between making the salad and serving it a few hours later. I say the results were mixed because the first four of us in the buffet line tasted the Fruity Pasta Salad and immediately spit it out. We couldn't decide if it was bitter or sour. The strange thing was that when I made the dressing, there was nothing bitter or sour about it, it was delicious. The next person that tasted it said it was fine and that there was nothing bitter or sour about it. Long story short, I removed the salad from the buffet and threw it away. Don't know what happened between assembling the salad and serving it, maybe the lime???

Found this recipe when I was looking for something tasty, cool and low in calories to serve at dinner with company. This fit the bill perfectly! Even my finicky husband ate 2 servings. My friend asked for the recipe and I just emailed a copy to another friend to try. It's very very good!

I've made this recipe many times, with rave reviews all around!. I always add more pasta than that originally called for, and many times, I add more fruit, and various different types. It is consistently wonderful. It's one of my husband's favorite dishes. Can't get much better than that!

My husband and I really enjoyed the Fruity Pasta Salad. I also shared it with my daughter, and she enjoyed it also. I do have one question, however. Is 3 oz. of uncooked rotini correct? I used more than the recipe specifies. It seems to me that using 3 oz. of rotini would not equal out to 10 servings, that you have stated that you will have by following these directions. We look for healthy recipes, and hope to find more on your website.
