I am wondering if preserves or jam would run out during baking. Also does the fruit roll-up stay soft after the cookie cools?

I think I would prefer the preserves too, and brush it with an egg wash and then sprinkle with the sugar...

I liked the picture but am not a fan of the Fruit by the Foot....think I'll try with preserves instead...

These were very easy to make and pretty tasty. Just be careful, they bake very quickly....burned my first batch =(
