Frozen Chocolate Chip Dessert

Think of this decadent layered dessert as frozen sundae squares--great for a crowd!

Ingredients

Crust

2 1/2
cups finely crushed crisp chocolate chip cookies (25 to 28 cookies)

tablespoons margarine or butter, melted

Filling

1 1/4
cups chocolate fudge ice cream topping, slightly softened
1/2
gallon (8 cups) chocolate chip ice cream, slightly softened
2
cups miniature marshmallows
1/2
cup caramel ice cream topping
  • 1 Line 13x9-inch pan with foil. In medium bowl, combine crust ingredients; mix well. Press in bottom of foil-lined pan. Freeze 20 minutes or until chilled.
  • 2 Spread 1 cup of the fudge ice cream topping over crust. Freeze 30 minutes or until firm.
  • 3 In large bowl, combine ice cream and marshmallows; spoon and spread over fudge topping. Cover; freeze at least 4 hours or overnight until firm.
  • 4 Place remaining 1/4 cup fudge topping in decorating bag with writing tip or in small resealable plastic bag with one tiny corner cut off. Pipe desired message on ice cream. Return to freezer.
  • 5 To serve, drizzle or serve with caramel ice cream topping.
