Frosty Margarita Pie

Here’s a distinctive dessert! Strawberry pie crust filled with yogurt, citrus and tequila, topped with whipping and fruit slices – a frozen treat.

Ingredients

CRUST

cup finely chopped strawberries
1/2
cup sugar
3/4
cup graham cracker crumbs (12 squares)

FILLING

quart (4 cups) nonfat vanilla frozen yogurt

tablespoon grated lime peel
1/3
cup fresh lime juice
2
to 4 tablespoons tequila, if desired

TOPPING

cup frozen light whipped topping, thawed, if desired
Lime and strawberry slices, if desired
  • 1 In small bowl, combine all crust ingredients; mix well. Press in bottom and up sides of 9-inch pie pan. Set aside.
  • 2 In large bowl with electric mixer, combine all filling ingredients. Mix at high speed just until combined. Spoon into crust. Freeze at least 1 1/2 hours or until firm enough to cut. Serve topped with whipped topping; garnish with lime and strawberry slices.
