Light the way with luminarias! Here's how: • Purchase luminaria bags at a party store. Fill with about 3 inches of sand or kitty litter. Place a 1-pint canning jar into the sand and add a votive candle. Light luminarias right before the guests arrive. • Fill a 7-inch balloon with water until 6 inches in diameter; tie end. Place filled balloon in a plastic container of similar size for support. Freeze at least 12 hours or until ice is about 1/2 inch thick around inside of balloon. Remove balloon from around ice ball. Chisel opening in top of ball; drain water. Place outside, insert a votive candle and light candle. If you'd like colored luminaria, add a few drops of food color to the water. • Or for a super simple idea, use a 1-liter soda pop bottle to make holes in the snow along a driveway or walkway. Fill holes with candles for a glowing path of light.

Outstanding punch, and ridiculously easy. I adapted the fruity ice ring from the "Italian Fruit Punch" recipe on this site for use with this punch, using lemons and limes as the fruit, and that worked great too. Definitely this will become my standard punch recipe.
