This is definitely a dish I will make again? Even with my ghetto [ haha ] substitutions, it turned out great. Instead of ramekins, I used an oven-safe pot and made one big serving. I used a can of regular biscuits and covered the soup, poured some melted butter on the dough, put it in the oven, and topped it with mozzerella cheese. I was a bit skeptical about the dough falling into the soup, but it worked no problem. I used cream of mushroom soup thinned out with about two or three can-fuls of water instead of mushrooms and the onion soup mix. Even the leftovers were great! I would recommend t

The reviewers are right about salt/sodium,low sodium chicken broth, a little more than called for helps. Yes to the garlic & I prefer broccoli to peas, and sometimes add potatoes like some other types of pot pie that are favorites. Any cheeses work well. jack/cheddar mix or others & you can use other soup mixes like golden mushrooom or regulaz onion. A good recipe to adapt to what you have on hand & it's still delicious.

I made this last night for my husband and I. I halved the recipe too and it was excellent. My husband said this was a recipe we needed to keep. I followed the recipe and didn't add anything to it and it was great. But next time I may add the carrots and peas.

This recipe sounds great but exceeds my daily allotment of sodium. It's torture reading these recipes.......

I made this for dinner tonight after reading all of the reviews, and made the following adjustments. I halved the recipe for just the two of us, used chicken breast tenderloins, only used a small onion, added peas and carrots, substituted chicken broth for the sherry and added a little extra because I'm a gravy/sauce fan. Just before tasting it my husband said "Well, let's see if this is a recipe we should keep." We loved it, so it is now in my recipe file. Great, quick meal that presents well in individual servings.

Made this last weekend. YUMMY! I made it in small dishes and everyone was so impressed with the presentation. Love the suggestions for adding garlic, peas and carrots. I'll try that next time. Perfect comfort food. I will make this again.

This stuff was awesome!!! Although, I did make a few changes
1) Used white merlot instead of sherry, that is what I had on hand
2) used BLSL chicken breasts instead of thighs
3) didn't use the cheese, forgot to buy it
4) I baked the biscuits per the package and skipped putting the soup in the oven, saved on time and I don't have ramkins.

Made this tonight. My husband loved it. Said two thumbs up. Make it again. I didn't have individual cups, so I used two casserole pans and worked out just fine. It seems like there wasn't enough broth/juice for the amount of biscuits so going to add more chicken broth next time.
