Ingredients

box Pillsbury™ refrigerated pie crusts, softened as directed on box

cup sugar
1/4
cup butter or margarine, softened
1/4
cup Pillsbury BEST® all-purpose flour
1/2
teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2
cup finely chopped dates
1/2
cup finely chopped walnuts
1/2
cup flaked coconut
Water

egg, beaten

Directions

  1. 1 Heat oven to 375°F. Remove 1 pie crust from pouch; place crust flat on ungreased cookie sheet or pizza pan.
  2. 2 In large bowl, mix sugar and butter until well blended. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Stir in dates, walnuts and coconut. Spoon filling onto crust on cookie sheet; spread to within 1 inch of edge. Brush crust edge with water.
  3. 3 Remove second pie crust from pouch. Place crust over filling; crimp edge to seal. Brush top with beaten egg.
  4. 4 Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool 30 minutes. Serve warm or cool.
