I make this, by demand, for every family holiday or event. it is the best in texture and taste! So easy---such a winner!

This recipe was made by itself and also with an added ingredient of sliced strawberries. My guests loved each of them. Regular apple pie seems so boring now that we have tasted this recipe. This recipe will definitely be made again next holiday season.

I have made this pie many times since I discovered it on the Pillsbury refrigerated Pie Dough box. Everyone who eats it loves it, except for those who don't like raisins. For them, I make it without raisins. I use the golden raisins since I like them best.

I made this pie for a gourmet dinner party and it was a huge hit! I made just one substitution by adding a 12-oz. bag of frozen raspberries plus 1/2 cup cranberries in place of the 1-1/2 cups cranberries and then followed the recipe exactly as written...it was delicious! It also held together beautifully for neat, clean wedges just as pictured. My husband LOVED it so it goes in my 'definite keeper' file. Your refrigerator pie crust is the only one I ever use and never go without having 1 or 2 boxes in the freezer. Double YUM!

This pie is delicious. It is a nice twist to the typical apple pie. I have made it a number of times and have never been disappointed. Try it and enjoy!
