Oh and by the way you can cut the amount of sugar you put in it as well. It was a little sweet but they love it. I made another one this evening and I did cut the sugar by a half a cup. thanks mickeywen.

I do not use any crusts at all. I grate the sweet Potatoes raw. I only peel them (about 4 cups). I add Cinnamon(about 1 Tbs), Brown SugarAb0ut 3/4 Cup), Pecans or Walnuts ( about 3/4 to 1cup) and Maple Syrup(about 1/2 to 3/4 Cup.)

This pie was too sweet. Cut the sugar by half at least. Also did not need to cook the pie crust ahead of time. I cooked it like I would have a pumpkin pie.

I decided to try this recipe instead of the%0d%0anormal pumpkin for Thanksgiving. It was so%0d%0aeasy to make and it is absolutely delicious!%0d%0aI really believe it to be one of the best pies%0d%0aI've tasted, but then I love sweet potatoes.%0d%0aI put the potatoes in the microwave and then %0d%0afinished them off in the oven till bubbling%0d%0aand soft. After that, just skin them and follow%0d%0athe recipe! If you love sweet potatoes you will %0d%0alove this pie :)
