Didnt use the coffee and cut the chocolate chips to half. Used splenda brown sugar. Didn't turn out to rich. Only wish I had doubled the recipe. Not enough especially for deep dish pie but tasted good!

So easy to make! Maybe a little less coffee but other than that amazing. Realy rich which is good because if not you will eat the whole pie yourself.

This is very easy to make but it's way too rich, and my entire family agreed. If I ever make it again, I'll only add half of the chocolate morsels and maybe a couple extra tablespoons of flour -or- just use ground cocoa instead of the morsels.

I just made this pie for a party and it was gobbled up by everyone! I left out the coffee (b/c I don't like coffee) and the nuts, and frankly, I can't imagine that putting them in would have made this pie better because that's simply just not possible. Super easy to make too!

Awesome! Made this for Easter dinner dessert. Very rich, but everyone loved it. My 9 year old grandson said, Grandma, can I have your recipe? Only change I made was to use 1 1/2 packages of Chocolate Chips and baked it for only 25 minutes. Had a similar pie several years ago and have tried several before I found this one that is so good. It is a little like a brownie, but still fudgie in the middle. I think the picture is right on. Just remember that it is a very rich pie. I think ice cream with it would have been good too. Thank you Pillsbury.

The picture of this pie is not what the end result is. The picture makes you think this has a cakey consistency. This really is a type of molten lava cake, which I'm surprised no one is describing this way. It is good, but be advised that the end result is very gooey inside with a thin brownie-like crust on the top. If you want more of a cake consistency, this is not what you want to bake.

I took the advise fo AJS1019 and under cooked it by 5 mins and added White Mint Chocolate Chips to the top for a Christmas look for our Womens get together for Church. Hope everyone likes it.

Very yummy! I undercooked it just a bit and it was out of this world. I made fresh whipped cream and served it with my husband's homemade butterscotch ice cream.
