Crown pleasing easy dessert. I made the crust and filled them with the creme fraiche the night before, then popped them in the fridge. The creme fraiche develops an almost cheesecake texture when refrigerated. Then it was easy just to top the cups with the cherries and white chocolate before serving.

I have made this recipe 4 times and everyone loved it. I even substituted apple pie filling and it was also a success. I also substituted marscopone cheese when I could not locate creme freasch. I added a little sour cream, spun honey and almond extract in order to get the right consistancy and flavor. Kudos to you!!

I didn't know you could buy creme fraiche! Is it in the dairy dept? This sounds wonderful and an easy for entertaining dessert -just a little something sweet after dinner, not heavy! I think, though, that I would buy a can of cherries and thicken myself -I don't think pie filling has enough cherries!
