This was really delicious and everyone enjoyed it on Christmas morning. Easy to assemble the night before and then just put it in the oven. Didn't try the cranberry syrup with it but used some maple syrup and it was great. Will definitely make it again and pass the recipe on to friends and family.

I make this recipe for Christmas breakfast every year!!! My family insists! It is so moist and delicious and the cranberry syrup is SO PERFECT with this!! The first time I tried it,about 2002, I took it to a Christmas pot luck brunch, and it was a SMASH!
