We made this for a formal youth dinner at our church and it was very good, Make more than you think you will need, it goes fast. It is a little messy to cut if you are trying to make it pretty, but after they taste it looks won't matter.

This recipe deserves a 5 star rating because it is delicious! I could not find the strawberry topping, so I used Hershey's strawberry drink mix and it worked perfectly. I also forgot the sugar (by accident), but it was a good thing I did because the desert was sweet enough without it.

This was a big hit with my coworkers and family. I did use reduce fat cream cheese and lite whip cream. I also used low surger strawberry preserves instead of the topping. It turned out wonderful. I will be making this again.

Even after using reduced-sugar cool whip, fat-free topping, and reduced-fat cream cheese it had more calories than desired. The cookie crust was also mushy. In spite of it all, we LOVED it! I have already adjusted the recipe for the next time to further reduce caloric intake.

*update* I tasted the finished product and it's pretty good, but it's very mushy. I'm not sure if it is supposed to be that way. The sugar cookie part is not crisp like I thought it would be. It did came out pretty, tastes alright, but just a little mushy. Any suggestions?

I haven't tasted the completed product yet, but I'm having a little trouble with the strawberry cream mix. It isn't at all... smooth.

to marnam- make sure pan is correct size and also no more than 1 roll of cookie dough for pan. I had just enough dough to cover bottom of pan.The strawberry topping is ice cream topping in a jar. I didn't have any problem with cheesecake filling cooking any longer than said in recipe. Again, check size of pan if too small, filling would need more time to cook. Try again and good luck.

Very good and easy to make. My husband doesn't like sugar cookies of any kind, so I was a little worried he wouldn't like it. He was the first one to say what a great dessert it was and that it is a keeper. I made the day before Easter for Easter dinner and then I had a few pieces left over. The crust never became soggy. This will not last long if taken to work. I agree with my husband it is a keeper.
