Unable to find cavatappi pasta so I substituted mezze penne pasta; 2 1/2 cups was too much. Next time I'll try 1 1/2 cups. Didn't have the plum/grape tomatoes so I used canned diced tomatoes with basil, garlic and oregano seasoning. The cheese I sprinkled on each serving. The first night 3 of us ate it; the second night I added more cooked sausage and whipping cream and 4 of us ate it with enough left over for my daughter to take for lunch the next day! So, like I said in the beginning, I will reduce the pasta to 1 1/2 cups. Otherwise - a big thumbs up - really good, easy and quick meal to

This is my favorite recipe from this site. It is sooooooo good. I make it every summer when I have fresh tomato's from the garden. It is very easy to prepare, and looks and tastes like a fancy dish from a resturant. I do either use spicy sausage or add red pepper flakes to regular sausage.

I made this recipe and it was very good. I added some parsley, and fresh ground black pepper.

We love this recipe so much that it's cooked around twice a month and it has become my "go-to" main dish for all of my donation dinners. I have made a few additions and changes though. Instead of spicy sausage, I use Ground sausage with sage and then I add crushed red pepper flakes, a bit of basil, and some ground black pepper. Also, I make a double batch since I have a large family and there's always leftovers. It's been a HUGE hit with everyone I've made it for. Enjoy!

This pasta was a hit with everyone. It was very easy to make, which I liked. On the advise of one reviewer who said it was bland I added some Italian seasoning and sweet and hot sausage. It made a big difference. Very tasty.

east enough to make and make it your own. Turkey sausage, different vegs. etc. no reason not to eat fresh foods.

It does need some sort of seasoning for sure, but other than that this is a very good dish. I did not use the type of sasauge the recipe called for, but I will next time. I think it will add something to it.

My family loves this recipe! Besides tomatoes, I added a cup of broccoli and a tablespoon of italian seasoning. It has become one of my families favorite dishes!

I would maybe use Ham next time instead of sausage b/c the sausage seemed to take over the dish a bit. I also added mushrooms because I am a huge mushroom lover... they really added a delicious element to the dish. This dish was SO easy, fast and delicious. . . a real hit with my dinner guests.

This dish was fabulous. My husband loved it. Next time I think I will add mushrooms as well.
