I made these last year with the dough and they were great. Would love to make again, but can't find the dough. Does Pillsbury even make this gingerbread cookie dough anymore?

When using this, do the cookies turn out soft?

I also tried to buy the gingerbread cookie dough so that I could make gingerbread cookie men for the first time with my granddaughter but I could not find it anywhere near my house in So Cal. Too bad. We're just going to use sugar cookie dough. I was considering adding additional ingredients to make it gingerbread but I don't want to mess them up. :(

I would have loved to try the gingerbread cookie dough but it was not available in any of the stores in our NE ohio area. I've been looking since Thanksgiving. Go figure!

Grabbed the dough on a whim in the grocery store because I needed something to take to a lunch at work. I was very happy with the way the cookies turned out. They were great warm, and the next day they were almost better - so soft, and have a great taste. Wish I'd gotten more than one because I haven't been able to find them again. They were a great hit at the office. Give them a try.
