I always add a couple of tablespoons of ranch dressing. It adds to the flavor and makes it easier to spread.

I also omit the dill, but I use the Garden Vegetable cream cheese instead of plain and it was a big hit!!

I made this dish for a babyshower and it was a huge hit! People were very impressed, the only complaint was that the tomatoes and spread were making the crescents soggy.
The only thing would recommend is some grilled chicken or switching the bottom to a type of flat bread.

I love this recipe! It is so delicious! I also like to take the spread and veggies, add chicken, and put it into pita pockets for an easy dinner!

This is a pampered chef recipe. I have been making it for years.

This is a fabulous appetizer...I substitute some of the ingredients though. I use Miracle Whip with cream cheese and a dry ranch salad packet. I top mine with chopped broccoli, onions, carrots, and shredded cheddar cheese. I always leave a party with an empty dish! DELISH!

I add ranch dressing to the cream cheese and omit the dill and sour cream, so much easier. Another hint is to spread the ranch/cream cheese on the cooked/cooled crescent, then cut using a pizza cutter. Spread the chopped veggies of your choice on top. Cover the whole thing with plastic or wax paper then press the veggies into the cream cheese mixture. This makes cutting a breeze and the veggies stay in place. Happy Snacking!!!

Instead of the dill and garlic, I use a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing(dry)........it's fabulous!

Rather than using the dill weed and sour cream, I use dill dip when I have it in the house.
