These are great.
Try this also:
Peel and core an apple.
Place the apple on one refrigerated pie crust
Put 1 T Butter, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1 tsp sugar inside apple
Fold pie crust around apple and seal at the top (pinch closed)
Bake 1 hour (cover piecrust loosly with foil if getting too brown)
Cut in half, put ice cream on top and share with your husband!

I made these this morning and the smell of the baking apples woke up the house. My kids had a hard time waiting for them to come out of the oven. After I pulled them out of the oven and got them glazed, the foldovers lasted all of 5 minutes. Great fast and easy alternative to apple pie and the apple glaze is the best!

I made this recipe this morning and I LOVE them! Yea- they don't really come out at perfect triangles, but they taste delicious!

If the pie crust was square then a good triangle for the turnovers would be a lot easier to work with. using a round quarter and trying to fold it over was quite cumbersome.I haven't even cooked these yet....and won't again
